Psychosocial Support

Psychosocial support is the unconditional welcome of your situation and your reality. This service is offered to our members. It is possible to meet a psychosocial worker on an ad hoc basis or on a more regular basis by appointment. Our staff is qualified in the helping relationship. Relaxation

These workshops allow caregivers to take a break to relax. You will have the opportunity to experiment with tips to regulate stress and be more relaxed. A variety of relaxation techniques such as meditation, breathing, visualization, movement and simple and light stretching will be offered. The workshop is given in French, but may be adapted to English-speaking participants.

Each month, the Southwest Caregivers Group offers conferences to its members in LaSalle and Verdun. Learn more from specialised speakers on various topics related to caregiving.

These conferences are organized either by a person specialized in a particular field, by an organization, or by an institutional resource.​
